ADOPTION POLICIES & PROCEDURES:
1.) A home visit may be required.
2.) If you are serious about adopting a cat then - a home visit date &
time will be set up; a required deposit -(which is 50% of adoption
donation) - may need to be put down on the cat in order to hold it.
3.) If you are leasing / renting - we need to have written permission
from your landlord(s) that you can have a cat where you lease / rent
and proof that you have either paid in full all of the pet deposit or that
you are paying on the pet deposit. (Within 90 days of adoption date.)
4.) You must agree to EVERYTHING that is written in the adoption
contract(s).
5.) Must be 18 years of age or older.
6.) Not be a full-time student.
7.) Have a photo identification showing your present address.
8.) Have knowledge and consent of all adults living in your
household. If you live with your parents, they must adopt the animal
under their name along with yours.
9.) Have knowledge and consent of your landlord or the person
owning the premised where the animal will be residing.
10.) Understand that all adoption fees are non-refundable.
11.) Understand that Cute & Cuddlie Animal Welfare Society reserves
the right to deny your adoption application for any reason.
12.) Understand that Cute & Cuddlie Animal Welfare Society reserves
the right to verify all information submitted on the adoption
application, including veterinary information.
REFUND POLICY ON DEPOSITS THAT
ARE GIVEN TO HOLD A DOG /CAT:
All deposits that are put down on a dog / cat in order to hold it for a
possible full adoption - will be returned if a full adoption does not take
place. (A full adoption means: signing ALL adoption contract(s).)
